200 years tradition

back then...

In year 1810 „ Weinhaus Zum Schwarzen Bären“  was established as a winepub and restaurant in Moselweiß. The family buisness suffered a lot when the main building was completly destroyed in year 1944, being damaged in World War 2. After end of war, when live had become normal again, they began to reconstruct the builduing. During this time the Restaurant gained a good reputation within the gastronomy scene in Koblenz.

In year 1986, we, Brigitte and Peter Kölsch, decided to become a part of this really committed family tradition.

We operate a Hotel located close to the city- centre, though in a really calm and beautiful part of Koblenz. Combining conditions attractive for buisness people as well for the vacationer!

Our biggest concern is to guarantee a family-like and personal atmosphere so that you feel like home during your time here. Spend a night in one of our specious ad comfortable hotel rooms and start the day with a rich breakfast buffet.

In addition to our pleasent Hotel we offer a internal Restaurant with a touch of traditional aesthetic, or in our newly built open-air restaurant located in the backyard. It´s completely up to you! It is just important for us, that you feel comfortable.
